Fletcher is seeking new members for August 1, 2012 through July 31, 2013. We are a diverse group of ten individuals who value environmental sustainability, consensus decision making, learning new skills, and having fun! What to expect when you live at Fletcher
- Good food! Staple foods are available to members for all meals. The house doesn’t buy meat collectively, but members may purchase whatever personal food they like.
- A cooperative community in which all members are collectively responsible for the well-being of the house

- Group budgeting and financial decisions
- Always working to reducing our “ecological footprint” – reducing waste, efficient use of resources, reducing dependence on nonrenewable resources, creating a healthy and nontoxic living environment

Responsibilities of members
Fletcher members are committed to regular duties that are listed below. New members should expect to devote several hours per week to a combination of these responsibilities:
- Prompt payment of monthly charges
- House meetings weekly
- Cooking dinner
- Cleaning and chores
- Administrative tasks such as purchasing or event planning
Membership Process
- If you are interested in joining us, please email FletcherCollective@googlegroups.com to set up an optional tour of the house.
- Fill out our Online Application or fill out and print our Paper Application (.doc) for consideration by our current members. We accept applications on a rolling basis - applicants are reviewed in the order that they apply.
- Come to the house for an interview with current house members.

Current Costs
- Double room: $347 per month. Includes rent, utilities, food, and common supplies
- Single room: $445 per month. Includes rent, utilities, food, and common supplies
- One-time refundable security deposit equal to one month's charges

Contract Term
Standard contracts at The Fletcher Collective run from August 1 - July 31. Fletcher does not permit shortened contracts unless a replacement member is secured. Subleasing contracts is allowed.
