Payment plans are a short-term support system to help members to catch up on missed monthly Membership Charges (“rent”). Payment plans aren’t mandatory, they’re a tool members can use if needed. Members who need more substantial or longer-term support should consider the Member Support Funds that KCH offers through the Funding Committee.
A payment plan turns past debt into future charges that will be invoiced to you later. Once a charge is included in a payment plan, it is no longer considered debt. However, if you miss a payment plan installment, that missed payment becomes debt once again and counts toward your total debt to KCH.
